It gives me hope

So I found this new website, the opposite of FML, called It gives me hope, and I LOVE it!  Don't get me wrong, an occasional FML or Texts from Last Night can hit the spot and provide me with the daily dose of humor I need, but this lifts me up in a better way!  I love the stories etc.  It is nice to know that there are still some kind, loving people in the world!

And continuing on the the good news wagon, THIS IS THE 10TH WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!  and man is it flying by!  I hope the whole year goes like this!  I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and an even more wonderful week!

2 Posts in one day...an all time high :)

So I was tracking my blog stats...someone in India read my blog :) So hello India! As for making the most out of my productive day, I managed to get several loads of laundry done, and go the grocery store while Griff went to football. Oh and read about 300 pages of my Stephen King book, The Stand, which I would not recommend reading while suffering from a cold! Anyway, another King book with flipping fantastic characters, and I still have about 500 pages to read, so I will post more on that when I am done. Next King book I will be reading is Salem's Lot, which makes me think of that catchy cat Eminem's song that goes something like... "Feet don't fail me not, blah blah blah Salem's Lot."  Sure wish I could remember the rest.

On a completely random and unrelated thought, there is this website, I used to love it in college, http://www.homestarrunner.com/ and it is fantastic, especially when you are incrediblt bored and looking for a way to waste a good hour or so.  I recommend watching the Teen Girl Squad cartoons, they make me giggle :)  Alright, I have to fold some laundry and get back to my book, so with that I will end.  If Homestar Runner doesn't make you laugh, look up the Strong Bad email Lures and Jigs on the same site, it's what got me hooked!  Happy Monday everybody! Back to the present.  Griff and I had been dating for a month at the time of the 5 year old post.  Now we have been married for 3 years!  What a crazy thought.  I am going to enjoy this day off, and make the most of it, hence being awake at 9:10 and coherent enough to post a blog :)  I hope everyone has a wonderful Columbus day!! Oh the joys of Friday

Can I just say...I love Friday like a fat kid loves cake!  The fact that this is a long weekend just makes this all the more exciting.  I have huge weekend plans...which include but are not limited to: Making tons of things for the church craft fair, cleaning my house, and maybe visiting the home depot..i don't know if we'll have time :)  (if you don't get the reference move on)
Football tonight against Greenville.  I will post some photos later!  As for now, that is all!  I hope you all have a wonderfully wonderful day!

So Here's the Thing...

I am apparently horrible when it comes to maintaining my blog.  Time seems to be an issue, as well as enthusiasm, but recently my interest has been revived no...wait...Rejuvinated!  As I am inspired by my dear friend Molly, check her out HERE, and my all time favorite Little sis, Ashley Skeie who's new blog about her 25th year of life is AWESOME, I have decided to embark on this little endevor again!  So hold me to it, check back regularly, and stay on my rear end if I start to slack off again!

With that in mind.....here I go again on my own!

Today (12:16 am) I finished the most gnarly Stephen King book.  It is called Under the Dome and it came out in 2009.  It was close to 1,100 pages (which I read in 4 days (yes I am bragging a bit)) and the story follows a town that is suddenly trapped in a dome that comes down from the sky out of no where.  The town's second selectman is "crookeder" than a question mark, and he basically runs the town into the ground as the Army, Marines, etc try and save the people trapped inside the dome.
There is this great character, a 13 year old boy named Joe McCartney, who is like...McGiever...and is an incredibly smart skate boarder who helps try to resolve the crisis.  He is wise beyond his years, and is a very well developed character.
I recommend you all read it!  So awesome, couldn't put it down!

Now...on to other topics.  I am thinking of writing a book.  I have an idea, but I need help!  If you could send me stories of how people in your life met, your parents, your grandparents, you and your lova, anyone who is in love, or once was, I would really appreciate it.  my email address is griffandjenni@yahoo.com and if you could just send them there that would be fantastical!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday night!  I will be sitting in class for the next hour or so....unless I just can't take it anymore and just waltz right out the door...which may just happen.  JGG
